Meet Emile "Ur Cousin" Farah

Emile "Ur Cousin" Farah has been CEO to A Farah Group of Companies for over 35 years, a company that specializes in commercial Bank Owned Properties, REO’s, Short Sales, and Bank Notes. Emile is also a Special Ambassador to the City of Miami in the United States.

Aside from his professional acquisitions which mostly involve rehabilitating thousands of square feet within buildings well as selling portfolios on those listed above, his involvement in the community has been ever-growing.

Coming from a big family all the way from Jerusalem, Emile completed his Education with an International Degree in Business & Consulting before moving his life down to South Florida in search of warm weather.

Since the early 70’s not only has Emile owned properties and ran businesses across the United States, he and his family have remained highly active philanthropically. After forming the Naim and Marie Foundation, named after his dear parents, Emile has been recognized for actively participating in raising money for causes supporting the construction of new schools, orphanages, and medical centers especially in areas like the Middle East. Mr. Farah has also been recognized for donating to the Cancer Society and foundations supporting Autism awareness also to include the Jessie Jackson Organization.

As President of the American Anti-Business Coalition, commitments involved holding events that supported Arab-American businesses with obstacles potentially encountered. One of the events held was to welcome Nelson Mandela upon his release. Emile has also worked closely with the Anti-discrimination committee and toured with Mustafa El Kurd and other artists to raise money for cultural centers throughout occupied Palestine. On a local scale, Emile has been recognized by the State Attorney and multiple community leaders for his outstanding involvement and support he has dedicated to the community. Recently, Emile worked with Mayor Tomas Regalado of the City of Miami to raise Turkeys for Thanksgiving in hopes of ensuring those in need are not left out on the holidays.
